Swipe up. Each screen holds one ayah, in the order of the mushaf, and the next swipe brings the next ayah. Tap the ayah panel to open the reading controls: type size, colour tone, which lines are shown, translation and settings. The app remembers exactly where you left off.

A pace for finishing the whole Quran. Choose the traditional one juz a day, or a time-based pace from five minutes a day upward. The app turns your choice into a daily ayah goal, shows a week strip and month view of how each day went, and estimates your finish date. Reading more than your goal simply brings the finish closer.

The app pairs the Uthmani Arabic with a clear, readable translation, and you can switch editions at any time in the reading controls; search results follow the edition you have selected. The Arabic itself never changes: it is always the Uthmani script.

The reading view has three independent lines: Arabic, transliteration and translation. Turn each on or off as you like; the app only insists that at least one line stays visible. Type size scales all of them together.

English first: the interface, the translation and this site. The app also ships in Turkish, and you can switch its language in the settings.

The whole Quran is free to read: every ayah, every translation, every juz. Premium keeps reading uninterrupted, unlocks the full reading experience with recitation and photographic backdrops at your own pace, and supports the app’s development. It is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, with the price for your region shown in the App Store before you confirm.

Open the Premium screen and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with. This restores Premium itself. Reading progress stays on the old device, because the app has no account and we hold no copy of your data; restoring your new iPhone from a backup carries progress across.

Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then IQRA, and choose Cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Premium until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds follow Apple’s policy. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, but email us if you get stuck and we will help with the request.

Tap the listen button on any ayah and it is recited while each word lights up in turn, so your eye follows the reciter through the Arabic. The first play of a verse needs an internet connection to download the audio; after that it is cached on your device and plays offline.

An optional, quiet soundscape you can play under your reading. It is off by default and never starts on its own; turn it on in the reading controls under Settings, where you can also choose the track. It mixes with other audio rather than silencing it.

Turn on the daily ayah in the reading controls and pick a time. Each day a chosen ayah arrives as a notification at that time. It is scheduled on your device by iOS, not sent from a server, and you can turn it off any time in the app or in iOS Settings.

Yes. The reading controls include a clear cache option that removes the downloaded recitations. Verses you listen to afterwards are simply downloaded again.

Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen, tap the plus button, search for IQRA and choose a size. The small and medium widgets show your hatim percentage, today's goal, your bookmark and a week strip; tapping the widget opens the app at your ayah.

Yes. IQRA offers Lock Screen widgets in three shapes: a circular progress ring, a rectangular summary and an inline line above the clock. Touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customise, and add IQRA to the widget area.

It keeps your hatim on your wrist: a glance shows today's goal and your overall progress, without taking the phone out. Reading itself stays on the iPhone, where the mushaf belongs.

No. IQRA is designed for iPhone, in portrait, one hand, with widgets and Apple Watch alongside. There is no iPad version.

There is no account, so we cannot transfer progress for you. Restoring your new iPhone from a backup of the old one carries the app’s data across. Premium itself is restored with Restore Purchases on any device signed in with your Apple ID.

Yes. Your reading progress, saved ayahs and settings live only on your device, and deleting the app removes them. An iPhone backup made before deleting is the only way back.

Yes. The reading controls include an option to start the hatim from the beginning. Your plan adjusts to the fresh start, and the mushaf opens again at Al-Fatiha.

Email us at can.devecioglu@icloud.com with your device model, iOS version and what you were doing when it happened. Screenshots help enormously. Bug reports written this way get fixed fastest.

Please tell us straight away, with the surah and ayah number, which translation you had selected, and what looked or sounded wrong. The text comes from established published sources, but a fault in our code or data is always possible, and reports about the text are treated with the highest priority we have.

IQRA is built for iPhone first. There is nothing to announce yet; if that changes, it will be announced here.
